The Feel: Another NRI movie as the survivor family lives in Manhattan (to begin with). Rani gets to wear some gorgeous dresses and sport a blond do. There are plenty of happy times for the couple as they run around New York courting each other. The race car scenes are not seen often in Bollywood. It was Feroze Khan’s Apradh that had some good F1 scenes for the first time.

The Spiel: This had to come after all the excitement generated by Narain Kartikeyan’s foray into F1. Movies about Indian people living in Paraya Mulk come with a high quotient of glamour and are a surefire winners for audience looking for different fare.
