The Shell: What is a father to do if a man older than him wants to marry his daughter. What is a 34 year girl to do if she finds she loves a man who is 64. What is a 64 year old man to do when he finds he likes this young woman and wants to spend time with her. What is an 80 year old woman to do when she finds her zest for life has not diminished with age.
The movie deals with the issue of age and life. It makes a statement about living life to the full, to the last drop.

The Feel: Amitabh Bachchan runs a restaurant in London. He is faced with an irate customer, Tabu, whose Hyderabadi Biryani was spiced with sugar instead of salt. This leads to a series of meetings between the both of them who find that they enjoy each others company despite a 30 year old age difference. They coin nicknames for each other – Amitabh is ghas phus and Tabu is tangri kebab. Paresh Rawal is the father who has to come to terms with this situation. Zohra Sehgal is Amitabh’s mother who loves WWF and cooking for her son.

The Spiel: This is the third movie where Amitabh is seen romancing younger women. Swinging Sam in KANK, the old roué in NISHABD and now this. But going by the buzz, this is a sensible love story with dollops of humour and fun. Amitabh comes back to form as the man who refuses to let age stand in his way of life.
