A patriotic film that will make you laugh and cry tears of joy. Indian hocky team loses the match when Kabir Khan misses a field goal against Pakistan, and is crucified in the media to the extent that he leaves home him never to be seen again.
After seven years he returns to coach the girls national team with players from all parts of the country. He begins with instilling a sense of commaraderie and team spirit needed to win the world championship against world champions Australia.

Patriotic melodrama, with expected results in the end. But a masterpiece none the less. Worth watching. Shah Rukh Khan is superb. The back and forth diolouge between the girls is very humourous.

'Chak De India' is a superbly done film, that surpasses expectations of a Yash Raj Film.
