| The Story: |
No buts about this -- must say that the man has guts. He’s actually summoned up the nerve to pass himself a hero in this Aap ka Suroor – The Movie without learning the ABC of acting. Also director Chadha seems to have discovered new toys like the crane and trolley.. and often makes you jump out of your skin by subjecting you to the world’s largest close-ups – including those of Sachin Khedekar. Heavens!
Spoiler Alert
Reshammiya tells Mallika to back off, wants to marry the misspelt Hanssikaa Motwani maybe because she’s half his age and he wants to be next Cheeni Kum Bachchan. Also Mr Reshammiya’s close shots frequently rest on his lips which suddenly break open to burst into song. He’s the world’s hottest singer. Ergo, Mallika Sherawat calls him into a room that may catch fire not because of her but because of a zillion candles flickering dangerously.
Whatever, he’s then involved in a sting operation – you don’t want to know, see, or hear more surely. Suggestion: get a CD pack of H R’s best hits instead. It’ll be much more easier on the nerves than this amateur brain toaster.
