The Buzz: BE THERE FOR YOUR FAMILY
The Shell:
Baldev Chaudhry (Dharmendra) brought glory and shame for his country in quick succession. A boxing medal and the ignominy of it being taken away for drug abuse. His older son tries to help him by bringing the medal back and does very well in the boxing arena, but is constrained to look after the family business as well and cannot keep up. It falls to the lot of the younger son to vindicate his father’s and his country’s honour. Bobby has suffered an injury in his younger days and cannot box. So he turns into a rockstar, bringing many light moments to the film. Until of course, the family needs him. Believe me, lack of training in boxing and a bad left hand cannot hold this dude back !

The Feel:
A big deal has been made of the three Deols being together for the first time. Dharmendra appeared recently in Metro to great acclaim. And frankly, he is still the best Deol of them all. Sunny has a devoted fan following from his big action star days, and Bobby has a charm of his own. Shilpa Shetty is riding high post Big Boss and Metro. She is everywhere and with that glam bod and looks no one is complaining. Katrina has been the cutie on the block for long, and bears the distinction of starring in the first hit of the year – Namaste London.
The feel is, when the Deol’s come together, there is nothing that can stop them from winning.
The Spiel:
The movie has been shot in apna Chandigarh, Bangkok, New York and Canada. Expect a lot of dhishum dhishum, a la Million Dollar Baby or Rocky. Expect a lot of singing and dancing in foreign locations, family drama, tears, smiles and laughter. Handsome Dharmendra and his wholesome boys rocking together in this biggie of the year.
